עוֹלָם נְגוֹהוֹת OLAM NEGOHOT

Any attempt on my part to translate the phrase that imposed itself on both a quadriptych and a triptych I painted on different occasions, and on three poems that arrived together one day, would fail to convey all meanings touched by Jewish Kabbalah as well as those pertaining to the conversation still held over different planes of existence, beyond Life and Death

As OLAM is so much more than “world” and NEGOHOT entails so much more than “brightness” or mere “lights”, the phrase is presented here simply transcribed into English

Both paintings were shown in an exhibition held in Jerusalem Theater in 2014

הטריפטיך עוֹלָם נְגוֹהוֹת (בְּזָהָב) וכן שְׁנֵי הַפָּנֶלִים העליונים מתוך הקוואדריפטיך עוֹלָם נְגוֹהוֹת, אשר צוירו בהזדמנויות שונות, הוצגו בתערוכה בתיאטרון ירושלים בשנת 2014
